THE WEEKEND
Higher Eggbeer Farm, Cheriton Bishop

FRIDAY
For those joining us for the weekend, you can arrive at the farm from 12 noon on Friday. If you are glamping or hiring a pod, your accommodation will be set up ready for you.
Once you are settled in- please enjoy the farm! There is a heated outdoor pool in the farmhouse garden, fussball and ping pong tables in the barn, and a tennis court if you feel the urge. We also have a hot tub if you prefer something more relaxing.
The evening will be very informal and a chance to catch up. A pizza van will be serving pizzas from 5pm with GF options available and there is a self stocked bar on Friday. So if you can- please bring a bottle!
In case of rain we will open up the barn and bar (see site map to follow).
A kids cinema room will be set up from 6pm so that Charlie can watch Paddington 2.
SATURDAY
It’s the big day! On Saturday morning the pool/ hot tub and play room will be open until 12 midday. A breakfast and coffee van will be onsite from 8am til 12- see menu here. Please enjoy the farm.
2pm Champagne on the lawn
3.30pm The Ceremony
4pm Celebration drinks on the lawn
5pm Wedding Breakfast
8pm-1am Drinks and Dancing. Cinema tent for kids.
1am+ Bar and games room open throughout the night.
SUNDAY
Wake up as late as possible! The coffee and breakfast van will be on site from 8am until 1. Please enjoy the farm and the pool will re-open.
1pm Join us by the pool for BBQ and recovery. The campsite, tent and farm are all available until Monday 12pm so please stay and enjoy the countryside.
There is a great local pub at the end of the drive in case of bad weather
THE ACCOMMODATION

Glamping
If you would like a bell tent set up for your arrival on Friday, two options are available. Prices are for 3 nights which is the minimum hire.
1. An empty 5m bell tent: you bring the beds/ bedding and anything you need- £200 total cost for 3 nights.
2. A furnished 5m Bell Tent: foam mattress & sheet, full cosy bedding, side table, camp light and rug provided- £260 total cost for 3 nights.
Additional beds and bedding can be requested for £40 per bed, with comfortable space for 2 adults and 2 children.

Pods
Ten handcrafted Camping Pods are available to hire for £70 per night. Bedding can be provided for a £30 charge per pod.
Each pod has a double futon bed, plus some additional room for 1-2 small blow up beds or travel cots for little guests. Although worth noting that these will get very cosy with more than two occupants!
There are showers and toilets on site, and a ‘getting ready tent’ will be set up with mirrors, ironing boards, hair dryers and clothes rails.

For the hardier among us please feel free to bring your own tent or camper van. There are 4 electric hook ups available on the site.

Airbnbs & Hotels
In the local village of Cheriton Bishop there are several Airbnb options. The village is about a 10 minute walk from the farm and is down a small lane. Torches will be provided!
Exeter is only 25 minutes by cab so please ask if you would like help with reliable cab companies.

DIRECTIONS
Higher Eggbeer Farm is in the village of Cheriton Bishop. As we found out Google maps only takes you so far! We will add a map and directions closer to the time.
The closest train station is Exeter St David’s which is a 25 minute taxi ride.
Trains run regularly from London Paddington at around 2 hours 20mins.
